Event rental and production management software provider Goodshuffle recently secured $5 million in a Series A funding round led by FINTOP Capital. The company’s focus on serving small businesses in the events industry, which faced significant challenges during the global pandemic, proved to be resilient.

Many of Goodshuffle’s users, consisting of small companies renting out event-related items like tables, chairs, tents, and decorations, adapted to the changing landscape by providing services for COVID testing sites or venturing into personal protective equipment (PPE) rentals.

Goodshuffle’s Pro vertical SaaS tool offers a centralized platform for rental and event production companies, providing functionalities such as inventory tracking, sales automation, and streamlined management of invoices, contracts, schedules, and payments. The company recently introduced a “wishlist integration,” allowing businesses to connect their inventory to their websites and enabling virtual showroom experiences for clients.

The co-founders, Andrew Garcia, Erik Dreyer, and Karen Gordon, launched Goodshuffle in 2015 with an initial focus on creating an online marketplace for rentals. Over time, their vision evolved, leading to the introduction of Goodshuffle Pro in 2018. This startup‘s platform has gained thousands of customers, and the recent $5 million funding will be used to accelerate the company’s growth. Goodshuffle plans to expand its team, enhance the Pro platform, and introduce new features to better serve its customers in the event rental and production industry.

Managing parties and events is no simple task, but Goodshuffle is striving to take the pain away and make it much easier for event planners and event rental companies to grow more efficiently. If you’re in the business, you should consider seeing how Goodshuffle can make your life easier and more rewarding.
